Inspiring Wellness, Purpose, and Abundance in Guayaquil, Ecuador
Lehi, Utah—Guayaquil, Ecuador, is the site of Young Living Essential Oils’ newest farm. For the past two years, Gary Young, founder and president of Young Living, has been researching new plant life for the distillation of therapeutic-grade essential oils. With approximately 2,000 acres, an abundance of Palo Santo trees, helichrysum, and lemongrass grow on uncontaminated land. To date, more than twenty new high-oil-content plants have been distilled in an effort to provide an ongoing source of natural remedies.
Because of its fertile ground and year-round growing season, Guayaquil has proven to be an ideal location for cultivating and harvesting herbs and plants. As stewards of nature’s living energy, essential oils, it is the responsibility of Young Living to foster a community of healing and discovery. For this reason, the farm in Ecuador serves as a reminder that everything mankind needs for a life of health and wellness can be found in the earth.
