Young Living's essential oils are so pure that they can be used in ways that lesser quality oils cannot be used. When you consider the huge percentage of the approximate 4,000 chemicals approved by the FDA to "fragrance" products are known carcinogens and that many may be labeled an "essential oil" it's nice to know that we can count on Young Living's essential oils to help us live the healthier lives we desire. This months event focused on essential oils we like to have in our First Aid Kits. Jonell Elder and Evelyn Vincent shared which the attendee's which essential oils they find most useful to have on hand for those unexpected mishaps that are a part of life and how they use the oils. "You're not going to find any drugs or typical First Aid items in my home, other than bandages," explained Evelyn, "everything I need is right here in my essential oil case. You wouldn't even find a bottle of aspirin in my medicine cabinet. That's what's so amazing about essential oils, once I began learning how to use them I turned to them first. They don't have any side effects, drugs or chemicals. I love knowing that I'm using the same plant remedies that our ancestors used, the plants that my body recognizes and knows how to process. And in turn, the plant molecules know how to help my body heal itself. I am so far removed from typical products in the stores that I can't even imagine why people would want to use products that are so inferior. I like to see results, and the faster the better when it comes to my healing..."
